A typical day in my life includes… Morning prayers and journaling (helps me find calm in the chaos), getting my kids ready for the day, visiting my brick and mortar to help merchandise, answering emails, reading to my daughter before bed, spending time with family.

I was born… in Los Angeles. CA.

My favorite thing about Arizona… The beautiful weather and the way it always seems to feel like a vacation.

I’m listening to… Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander (Audiobooks are my favorite invention)

My family… is so special to me and my kids are the loves of my life.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Jesus of course!

One thing I cannot live without… planning my next endeavor. I love starting new businesses and projects I’m passionate about. I like relaxing but I LOVE putting my passion into practice. I was planning the first market event within a month after having my second child. It sounds crazy but I’m lucky to have such an amazing support system in my family. I couldn’t do it without them!

When I was younger, I wanted to be… a hairstylist or dentist. Two opposite ends of the spectrum I know but I’ve always loved the idea of being creative whether with hair, teeth or my own business and getting to know everyone who comes in!

I’m inspired by… personal growth. I want to evolve and grow into the person I’m truly meant to be. I like to challenge myself to break bad habits and to create new healthy and peaceful ones.

The one person who motivates me is… my husband. He encourages any idea I pitch to him (and I have a lot). He has my back 100%

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… to make everyone kind. I’ve always believed kindness is everything, just a simple act of it can even change someone’s life. One kind gesture you give/make might mean the world to someone.

The perfect day would be… having absolutely no work and just relaxing by the beach with my kids behaving on a warm day. Oof a girl can dream!

My first job was… Working at a retail shop. I was folding clothes all day, wishing I could just shop haha. But I always loved helping people find just what they were looking for and creating a great experience for everyone who came in.

My favorite escape… watching the real housewives on bravo.

My life… is so blessed, I still pinch myself. It’s not perfect, but I focus and embrace the positive things in my life.

I’m currently working on… growing our outdoor market to make it essentially a local business amazon marketplace to host local vendors so customers can shop and support the small business community

Always… focus on the good and pray to your higher power.

Never… Think it’s too late to start. Everyday is a new day, and you can choose to become better from one day to the next.

Favorite Quote…”Don’t wait, the time will never be just right.”

Biggest Dream… to own a house by the beach.

My Pet Peeve(s)… people being late, including myself.

Bio-on yourself/company: I’m the owner of Merchantile Market, a new, FREE ADMISSION outdoor artisan marketplace featuring all things vintage, unique and handmade. I also own its brick-and-mortar counterpart, The Merchantile of Scottsdale located in Old Town. My journey started out as a small business vendor myself and fell in love with the community and how we supported each other. It was incredible seeing how much creativity there truly is in the world so I wanted to create a space where other small businesses could thrive and showcase their items to the public and thus the Merchantile of Scottsdale was born. After opening up my store I wanted to do even more for the small business community and came up with the idea of holding an outdoor market so I could help even more local small businesses fuel their passion projects and bring in different kinds of vendors I couldn’t have at the store! We even have small business food trucks, bakeries, free facials and massages and adoptable puppies from a local small shelter onsite 🙂 My store is open daily, but the outdoor market is held twice a month through April 🙂 The next one is December 18 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.!
