A typical day in my life includes… my day always starts with some coffee! Once I’ve taken my kids to school, I am able to get to work. I’m also a realtor in the valley and I train other agents at my brokerage, so depending on the day I’m either at my real estate office or The Pink Teapot giving tours to our beautiful venue! I try as best as I can to wrap up most of my business by the time the kids get out of school. But sometimes, that’s not always possible because there is always something, right?

The joy of being self-employed is being able to have that freedom to make your family your priority. I love my time with my husband and kids more than anything.

I was born… Tulsa, OK and grew up in a very small town – Collinsville, OK

My favorite thing about Arizona…  the mountains and all the outdoor living we can do here when it’s not blazing hot outside!

I’m listening to… country music.

My family… is crazy! We are a crazy group! Ha! When you have a 19, 15, and 11 yr old there are lots of strong opinions! Ha! But! I will tell you the 5 of us came together to make our small business work! My husband does the physical labor, and helps my dreams come true and my kids all have their hand in working or helping at our business as well!

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… my Papa (grandpa), he died when I was 10, and I would give anything to sit down and have dinner with him.

One thing I cannot live without… my family!

When I was younger, I wanted to be… on broadway; I’ve been singing all my life and loved being on the stage. So I always hoped life would take me there!

I’m inspired by… my kids. They make me want to be the best version of myself.

The one person who motivates me is… I don’t have one… but it’s my husband and my children. When we were in the height of the pandemic and shut down I honestly wanted to give it up and shut down our busyness… but they all knew how much work was put into this beautiful little business and encouraged me to keep it going and we are getting back to be stronger than ever!

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… hate. It’s so sad to see how people are acting these days, turning on each other. All the hate in the world is just devastating.

The perfect day would be… on the beach in the sunshine!

My first job was… a sandwich artist at Subway!

My favorite escape… the beach, I love the beach!

My life… is exactly where I want it to be right now! Not perfect, but constantly moving forward. I have amazing people in my life and I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am without them.

I’m currently working on… being present every day in everything that I do. I just turned 39, and life is so short. I want to make sure that every day is filled with purpose.

Always… tell your loved ones you love them!

Never… get angry over the small things. Life is too short to stay mad.

Favorite Quote… “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right,” – Henry Ford.

Biggest Dream… for all of my kids to grow up, love what they are doing in life and be happy always.

My Pet Peeve(s)… people who like to shoot down other people. Life is hard abs not fair sometimes, we need to be positive, loving and supportive of others as we don’t know what’s going on in their life. Just be nice!
