Age: 36

Title: Co-founder of Bodify

Married/Single: yes, to Chad the most perfect man on the planet for ME.

Kids: from an early age I knew I wanted a husband and a business but no kiddos. I can’t wait to be an aunt to Hudson, my sister-in-law’s soon to be first and only son (after 8.5 years of trying).

City you live in: Phoenix

A typical day in my life includes…

waking up, making lunch for my hubby and seeing him off, working out, walking our dog Calvin (cutest mutt ever), heading into work (while listening to How I Built This, Dave Ramsey or some other Podcast/Audio Book I love), freezing a ton of fat, working on building Bodify, writing thank you cards to everyone who comes in and does CoolSculpting, making dinner, relaxing and connecting with Chad and going to bed by 9pm (yup I’m a grandma and believe sleep deprivation makes people crazy…so I get mine!)

I was born…

in a little old ski town, Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

tie between the winters or easy access to amazing things. Growing up, school was only cancelled if it was colder than -40, that’s nonsense and the closest mall or items of interest were 3 hours away, also crazy. I am grateful for warm winters and access to amazing things!

I’m listening to…

Profit First. A fabulous book for business owners.

My family…

is the most important thing on the planet to me. The only thing that would ever take priority over Bodify is my family. Without them, nothing matters.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

tie between Warren Buffet, I’m insanely amazed with what he’s built or Bradley Cooper (based on his recent performance in A Star Is Born!)

One thing I cannot live without…

my hubby. My favorite role in life is being a wife! I never knew I’d love it this much.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a CEO (haha funny how some things stick)

I’m inspired by…

moms. I truly don’t know how they manage working hard, raising kiddos, working out, eating healthy and getting everything else done. I would like to say there aren’t enough hours in the day, but at Bodify these amazing humans come in time and time again and prove that you can always do more than you think you are capable of.

The one person who motivates me is…

interestingly enough, myself. I tend to be super competitive and have an easy ability to motivate myself, stay accountable, and set goals that push and inspire me both professionally and personally!

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

selfishly I’d create a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. While it’s not a death sentence, it is a tough disease and I’d love to have a healthy and functioning pancreas. Altruistically, I wish everyone would wake up and live a life that created no harm to anyone or anything.

The perfect day would be…

waking up without an alarm, everything else falls into place when that happens.

My first job was…

working at my mom’s health food store. She should have fired me seeing how I refused to do any job other than check out customers (apparently I liked to collect money) and I also took food from the bulk bins incessantly when I worked.

My favorite escape…

embarrassing to admit, listening to other entrepreneurs share their stories. I learn a tremendous amount and am grateful there are others out there to inspire and guide me. Most don’t like change, I seem to thrive and always try new things.

My life…

is insanely blessed and not a day passes when I’m not grateful for it and excited to continue to build a wonderful life.

I’m currently working on…

the launch of our second location! Scottsdale here we come.

Always…

share words of affirmation.

Never…

say things to yourself that you wouldn’t let another say to you.

Favorite Quote…

“What you think about comes about.”

Biggest Dream…

talking on the TED stage.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

going to dinner and seeing people playing on their phones vs. interacting with those the opted to go to dinner with.

More about Jessica…

one of the most vivid memories I have from childhood is being told, “it’s a good thing you work hard because you’re not very smart!” Rather than being defeated and crippled by this statement, it is the very phrase that fuels my passion to succeed in big ways. Once my sister and I, who always knew we wanted to run a business together, discovered CoolSculpting, we were hooked with passion in our veins and unmatched determination. We wanted to build a business around a single service that delivered on its promises. We have yet to find anyone not excited about the prospect of non-invasive fat reduction (who doesn’t have at least one extra bulge they want to see less of?) We love that the technology is FDA-cleared, safe, effective, heavily researched, and has been in the market place for years nearly 10 years (8 million treatments to date have been done!)

Our backgrounds in business, marketing, and working with high-end brands poised us perfectly to craft a memorable and meaningful experience while giving people what they want — less fat! We love everything about what we do and think what’s most important is ensuring that each and every person who interacts with Bodify feels uplifted. The world needs it. As the #1 CoolSculpting provider in Arizona and the #4 provider in the nation, we have a responsibility not only to our clients but to others who are looking to get into the industry and be successful! We believe there is enough fat to freeze for us all to win. We push ourselves constantly to find new and better ways to provide for our clients, maintain our reputation of excellence, and build Bodify.
