A typical day in our life includes…
juggling running a successful brand photography business, two kids and soccer coaching! We spend our day working by either photographing campaigns for our clients or taking care of other behind the scenes business. In the afternoons our son comes home from school and we enjoy family time and enjoying everything we work hard for!
We were born…
Erica is an AZ native, born in Tucson! Jon considers himself an adopted ‘native’ but he was born in Connecticut and moved to AZ at a young age.
Our favorite thing about Arizona…
the sunshine! Jon has lived all over the US, and we both moved to Washington State together a few years ago. We lasted through two ‘winters’ a.k.a. dark, gloomy, no-sun-to-be-seen 8 month periods and decided we HAD to come back home to AZ! Oh and GOOD Mexican food. We are chips and salsa addicts!

Our family…
is everything! We started our business originally to be together more often, to spend time together actively raising our family, and to enjoy the little things in life. Our family is the highest priority in our lives.

Erica: Joanna Gaines! I’m actually her best friend, I just haven’t been able to tell her in person yet.
Jon: My wife, Erica. Just the two of us, no kids, no business, an actual date. Took me a second to come up with this answer because I had to remember what an actual date even was!
One thing we cannot live without…
we mentioned this before, but if we had to live without chips and salsa….well it just wouldn’t be living.
When we were younger, we wanted to be…
Erica: a pediatrician.
Jon: a rockstar.
We’re inspired by…
by other entrepreneurs who passionately pursued their dreams with relentless ambition and determination.
The one person who motivates us is…
Erica: Jasmine Star. She’s huge motivation to me both creatively and as an entrepreneur.
Jon: my family. Anytime I feel discouraged, I think about why I do what I do – and it’s for my family. It’s in order to provide my kids with an example of hard work and determination and to provide the dreams Erica and I have dreamed for a long, long time!
The perfect day would be…
full of family time, sunshine, zero stress and a warm beach with chips and salsa!

Erica: American Eagle.
Jon: At a photo lab, before I was EVER interested in photography!
Our favorite escape…
Erica: Traveling out of town.
Jon: Playing music. I’ve been a musician since I was 12 and love the opportunity to continue playing at our church, CCV.
Our life…
isn’t always what we think it will look like, but we’ve learned to find the beauty in the unsettling and to fully enjoy every moment.
We’re currently working on…
multiple projects for our amazing clients and building an educational course for other photographers interested in commercial brand photography.
