#sorrynotsorry for the long answer but I wanted to break down what can be achieved when you utilize every moment productively.

I was born…

in Scottsdale, Arizona.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

is the weather! Also, I love the vibe of this state. You can go out if needed, work if needed, see the countryside, drive to the beach, drive to the snow, or just hang out with friends. I’ve traveled all over the world, but this is the one place I’ll always have a home.

I’m listening to…

100 audiobooks this year! Everything from business to dog training, to coding, and personal development. If you want my Audiobook recommendations DM me on Instagram @chris85258 or check out my website christopheroosthuisen.com.

My family…

immigrated here from South Africa and are incredibly important to me. They are unbelievably supportive and I can never repay that. They inspire and push me every day to work harder than I ever though possible.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Elon Musk, Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos. Man, would that be an incredible meal. So much so, I probably wouldn’t even eat.

One thing I cannot live without…

is work. It’s probably unhealthy how much I love working. It’s all I think about during the day and all I dream about at night. My friends make fun of me whenever I do go out because I’m usually answering emails in the club. I’m weird, I get that, but while most kids my age are trying to figure out which bar they’re visiting tonight, I’m trying to decipher how to improve my companies to serve more people in the world.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

an Entrepreneur. I grew up immersed in this environment, and from day one, I knew that I would follow the same path as my family.

I’m inspired by…

other Entrepreneurs. We will work hardest for the fewest results. Though, it does take a different breed of person. While Entrepreneurship is hot right now, everyone wants to do it. However, when times are tough, we will see the true Entrepreneurs rise.

The one person who motivates me is…

my dad. Of course, all of my family and shareholders motivate me as well, but my dad is the one person that inspires me to push harder than anyone else.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

our education system. Times are changing, and the ability to memorize and parrot information will soon become inept. We need to focus on soft skills, personalized education and utilizing technology effectively in schools.

The perfect day would be…

working, gym and then seeing friends.

My first job was…

a dog trainer at Partners Dog Training School…at age 3. Yes, really! From the age of 3, I’ve been training and working with dogs. Though, I believe I was only on payroll at age 16.

My favorite escape…

is the gym. It’s truly the BEST release and keeps me sane. I gather my best ideas with 100s of milligrams of caffeine pulsing through my body and the ability to work off any frustration.

My life…

is amazing. I’m doing what I want, when I want, and loving EVERY moment of it. In my opinion, when you’ve achieved that, you’ve won. It’s by no means “easy”, but I love the journey and the losses just as much as the wins.

I’m currently working on…

my startups, brand and future.

Always…

love what you do.

Never…

settle.

Favorite Quote…

“Your brand is what other people say about you when you’re not in the room.”- Jeff Bezos

Biggest Dream…

is to take my companies public, and then do that again, and again and again.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

is complaining. ESPECIALLY if you’re complaining and not doing anything to fix what you’re complaining about.
