Title: President and Medical Director of DermaCrush Medical Aesthetics

Married/Single: Engaged!

Kids: One son, Audric, who is now 23 years old. We grew up together in some ways, he saw me go to school for most of his life so he knows education is number one. He attends ASU full-time and is pursuing a degree in marketing.

City you live in: Scottsdale, Arizona

A typical day in my life includes… I wake up early, around 5:30, to go to the gym and get ready for work, then head to DermaCrush to hold a team meeting before opening. I then go into back-to-back sessions with patients, a lot of which I have been seeing for years for various medical-grade services. At the end of the day, around 7 p.m, after saying hello to my Maltipoos of course, I will try to make a healthy dinner. If it has been a hectic day, Doordash is my go-to. I will catch up on emails with marketing, finance, payroll, and more, (super exciting) then sit down for dinner with my fiance. In total, it doesn’t sound thrilling, but it’s a day in the life of a business owner.

I was born… Tucson, AZ.

My favorite thing about Arizona… I like that it’s reliable – it’s always hot as heck in the summer and gets relatively nice around the end of the year. Also, the multiple climates that are just a drive away. You could always drive to Flagstaff or Sedona for a fresh landscape. Additionally, the monsoons during the summer are my favorite time of the year to cool down from the ridiculously intense dry heat.

I’m listening to… The chill music playing in the background of DermaCrush (it’s always a vibe), but outside of work, I love to listen to audiobooks. Right now, I’m listening to Gut Reactions. It is an incredible book on the science of weight gain and loss that talks about all the little details from hormones to stress, and highlights what’s good for you and what’s bad. For my morning gym sessions, my workout playlist can range from Beyonce to Kygo, Post Malone, Pink, and AC/DC!

My family… My family is everything to me. The members of my biological family and DermaCrush family have helped form who I am, where I’m at, and my aspirations in life. The support from my son is unparalleled because he understands my life goals and supports me in going after my dreams. I believe watching my parents’ extraordinary work ethic growing up had an effect on me as well!

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Judge Judy – I think she’s just hilarious. “Beauty fades but dumb is forever,” right?

One thing I cannot live without… It’s either mascara or lemons. If I have my mascara on, I know I’m ready to conquer the day. Lemons I put on and in everything I eat and drink. Lemons really act as a food group for me.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… A doctor. I have always been fascinated with medicine and how doctors operate. I have gotten to customize my passions to fit my love for the medical field.

I’m inspired by… Strong women

The one person who motivates me is… There is no way I could just pick one. My son, my mother, my fiance, and all the people who have supported me throughout my journey are all key parts of my motivation. There are so many people that have and continue to motivate me.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Taking away conflict, violence, and suffering, would be my dream.

The perfect day would be… Starting off at the gym to set my mind and mood right, relaxing at home, cooking a nice meal or meal prepping, and spending time with my dogs. If I’m in the mood to treat myself to an amazing medical-grade facial, I’ll just go to work! I work with two of the best aestheticians in the Valley.

My first job was… A clothing retail store at Paradise Valley Mall. Starting out in retail helped me gain perspective on what goes into a business.

My favorite escape… If I want a getaway, Telluride is my favorite location. I love going for a hike with my fiancé and our dogs during the perfect summer weather there. Telluride truly has the cleanest atmosphere and air you’ve ever experienced.

My life… My life is full and I couldn’t be happier. I’m fortunate to have an amazing family and a job that I love. I spend most of my days working with incredibly talented staff, providing high-end medical-grade treatment to patients that I adore.

I’m currently working on… At any given time, I’m working on many projects. Currently, I am working with my HR Director as we search for new talent to bring on to DermaCrush.

Always… Follow your gut. Set boundaries.

Never… Allow someone to dictate the trajectory of your life.

Favorite Quote… “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” ~Dr. Seuss.

Biggest Dream… To grow DermaCrush into a national brand while maintaining its incredible culture.

My Pet Peeve(s)… Bullies and cheaters.
