A typical day in my life includes…

children, kiddos, kids, babies and more children lol. Well maybe not that many but there are days it feels that way. Every day starts and ends with them which I LOVE. My husband is a huge support and helps me a ton, thank goodness. A typical day would be breakfast with the kiddos and getting them off to school. I leave to work where I train clients one on one helping them reach their fitness goals. I also do a lot of online work as well working with women from around the country helping them learn to balance life, family and fitness. I, of course have to get in my workouts as well, so sometime during all of this I squeeze in a quick workout, run errands, meet kids for lunch on certain days, help out in the classroom, plan dinner, homework time, make sure kid’s chores are done, meal prep for myself and all the kids’ lunches for the next day. My husband tries to do all the driving for extra curriculars after school and into the evening. Four nights a week I try and read to the kids. I’m a former 2nd grade school teacher and love this part of night! Generally in bed by 8pm so while reading sometimes is quick it’s important for me to have that quiet quality time together. And FYI these reading sessions are just to my three youngest … the three older ones are a little too cool for it hahaha.

I was born…

in Mesa, Arizona.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the familiarity of it. It never being too cold is probably my favorite. Yes it’s hot but I don’t know the difference lol winter and spring is perfect so I can take the heat in the summer.

I’m listening to…

right now?? My puppy barking and the girls playing shopkins.

My family…

we are BUSY…a busy, busy family. My three oldest (16, 14, 11) all play football right now. So getting them to and from is a circus. My 16 year old actually wont turn 16 until tomorrow so he can’t drive yet and many times we have to rely on Uber to get him to his practices or events. My 9 year old is in softball and the twins not in anything yet because I’m still trying to find the time lol. My husband and I both work. He is a former US Marine and currently a detective with the US Marshals apprehending high-risk fugitives. So his schedule is not always consistent. But we make it work! Kids have chores and responsibilities and me and my boys are very close. They are in the teenage years and while its scary there still is trust so I’m thankful for that.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

my husband. This sounds sooo cheesy but it’s true haha! I LOVE my cheat meals and don’t want to share them with anyone besides him. I’m a simple person and not really a star struck kind of person. I know what I love and honestly cant think of anyone I’m dying to eat with!

One thing I cannot live without…

my kids! And water and protein and carbs lol…all these are what makes me happy in this world.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a doctor or nurse. I would draw systems of the body and still have the digestive system I drew when I was younger haha…I still love to learn about the body and how it all works. So it makes sense that I do what I do as far as nutrition and health is concerned. The body fascinates me and always will. And if I had the time and money I would still consider pursuing my nursing degree.

I’m inspired by…

the positive spirit and outlook of strong women. Women that don’t compete against one another but truly love seeing others shine and accomplish what their heart wants. Mothers, career women, those that don’t let things get them down but instead overcome. These stories are always inspiring to me.

The one person who motivates me is…

my husband. He has unconditional love for our family and me. He is my solid ground and will support me in any decision I make. He pushes me to be better than I am without making me ever feel that I’m lacking.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

poverty and homeless children. If I could take on every child in need I would.

The perfect day would be…

a pool day with my kids and husband…literally all day at the pool at a resort, then back to the room for a movie and popcorn. OR taking all my kids to New York and going to a Yankee game…this would be the perfect day!

My first job was…

Paccinos Pizza, working in my brothers pizza shop.

My favorite escape…

New York City with my husband. This is where he proposed and will always be “our” place.

My life…

is beyond hard but the most perfect life I can imagine. Filled with mistakes, learning experiences and challenges but memories that can’t ever be replaced and love.

I’m currently working on…

a website as an avenue for women to go to for fitness tips, motivation, etc.

Always…

find what makes you happy and don’t let go of this. You only have one life, you should live it passionately for you.

Never…

forget who you are and where you came from. It’s easy to change and let others change who you are but at the end of the day you have to live with the decisions you make. We are all special in our own way and this should never be lost.

Favorite Quote…

Be you, the world will adjust.”

Biggest Dream…

besides eating whatever I want and not getting fat?? Lol, this would probably be one of my biggest dreams…alongside taking all my kids on an airplane and watching their faces light up. So basically a New York trip with the children haha, that would be my biggest dream.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

women/people that think they’re trainers just because they’ve competed or have done a couple shows. I know we all have to start somewhere but promoting yourself as a personal trainer without the credentials and with limited knowledge is definitely one of my pet peeves.
