Where to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2019

Line up the tequila and get ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at these Valley parties.

El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row are teaming up to throw the ultimate “Cinco de Mayo Weekend” in Tempe between both bars in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. El Hefe Tempe will open at 10 a.m. both Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Local DJs will be spinning music all day and night and both locations will be decked out in festive décor. Drink specials include buckets of Dos XX and Tecate for $25, and $2 off Patron Silver and Jose Cuervo.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo weekend in Scottsdale at El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row. Opening early on both Saturday and Sunday, the sister concepts will feature Dos XX, Tecate, Don Julio Blanco, and Hornitos Plata specials all day and night and have music from the best local DJs.

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Gilbert is hosting a weekend long Cinco de Mayo celebration with live bands and DJs starting at noon and into the night both Saturday and Sunday. Drink specials include buckets of Dos XX or Tecate for $25, and $2 off Patron Silver and Jose Cuervo. On Sunday, guests can participate in Whiskey Row’s Cornhole Tournament presented by Dos XX. Riot House in Scottsdale is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a weekend long party. The festivities kick off Saturday, May 4 when Riot House opens early at 10 a.m. with the best local DJs spinning music all day and night. The celebration continues Sunday, May 5 at 11a.m. The venue will be decorated, and drink specials include buckets of Dos XX and Tecate for $25, and $2 off Don Julio Blanco and Hornitos Plata.

On May 5th, CityScape will come alive with a Cinco de Mayo fiesta featuring Lil Jon for the 2nd annual Cinco on Central Block Party hosted by Chico Malo and Copper Blues. Festivities start at 4 p.m. on Cinco de Mayo with plenty of parking and light rail options nearby. Menu options include Chico Malo’s Signature Margarita with freshly squeezed lime juice, Copper Mule, ice-cold cervezas, and authentic Mexican food favorites. For those who want to explore the VIP area, tickets start at $100 and include five drinks, Copper Blues Nacho Bar, and access to exclusive areas.

Head to Downtown Phoenix for the Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival, the longest running annual event in Phoenix. Gates open at 12 p.m. Event features include Baile Folklorico, lucha libre, and a variety of delicious food vendors and exhibitors as well as a lineup of hot music on the stage as the sun goes down.

All three of Barrio Queen‘s Valley locations will be celebrating the day with mariachis, DJs, drink specials and family fun. The Old Town Scottsdale location will be throwing a block party that will extend to the Scottsdale Waterfront and will feature games like corn hole, life-size Connect Four, Jenga and beer pong.

Blanco Tacos & Tequila is celebrating with an all-day party in partnership with Codigo 1530 tequila. Enjoy music from 12 to 8 p.m., plus Codigo 1530-themed swag, a photo booth and $5 classic and skinny margaritas.
