Today marks the start of one of the nation’s largest annual music festivals, Bonnaroo. This weekend, Sonic Bloom will delight fans of the electronic music underground and next weekend, hundreds of Arizonans will head to electronic music’s biggest event of the year: Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas.

If you’re planning your trip, dreaming of attending or planning to stream the live sets from home, here’s what you shouldn’t miss in music festival madness this month:

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival – Manchester, Tenn.

Thursday, June 13 through Sunday, June 16

This year, Bonnaroo celebrates its 12th year as one of the nation’s premier music festivals. If you are one of the lucky ones to snag tickets to this sold-out show, prepare for one of the most eccentric music experiences of your life. Bonnaroo hosts an eclectic mix of musicians and performers, from comedians and classic rock legends to the freshest faces in indie, hip-hop and electronic dance music.

Don’t miss: Daniel Tosh, Bob Saget, Paul Mc Cartney, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The XX, Pretty Lights, Clockwork, The Tallest Man on Earth, ZZ Top, A$OP Rocky and pretty much everyone in the first four lines of the festival lineup.

Sonic Bloom 2013 – Gerorgetown, Colo.

Thursday, June 13 through Sunday, June 16

sonicbloom

This is a massive underground music festival, featuring mostly electronic music acts and some hip-hop from the west coast underground and beyond. This multi-day camping festival creates a fantasy land oasis, engulfed by the nearby towering forest.

Don’t miss: Crywolf, Grouch & Eligh, Phutureprimitive and Minnesota.

Electric Daisy Carnival – Las Vegas

Friday, June 21 – Sunday, June 23

EDCone

Does EDC need an introduction? The Valley’s proximity to Las Vegas makes EDC an annual event for locals. This massive festival hosts every big-name act in electronic music, along with less commercialized DJs and producers. EDC is kind of like DisneyLand for partiers and and beat junkies. Thousands will dress in neon rave outfits, tutus and bikini tops and enjoy the best in electronic music, carnival rides and interactive art. Many headlining DJs will perform at clubs on the strip throughout the week. Don’t forget to drink water!

Don’t miss: Bro Safari, Benny Benassi, Crookers, Dada Life, Dog Blood (Skrillex and Boys Noize), Dyro, Fatboy Slim, Nicky Romero, The Bloody Beetroots, Tommy Trash and Tommie Sunshine.

Electric Forest – Rothberry, Mich.

Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 30

electricforest

Electric Forest has quickly grown from a local underground showcase to a massive electronic music festival. This festival is worth the trip to the Great Lakes region. Like Sonic Bloom, the festival is located in the forest. It detaches you from the outside world to create a rave fantasy land.

Don’t miss: Beats Antique, The String Cheese Incident, Tommy Trash, Pretty Lights, Nervo and 3LAU.
