Six Chart Topping Bands to Perform at Ostrich Festival in March

Chandler will be home to a mini music festival during the 29th Annual Chandler Chamber of Commerce Ostrich Festival taking on March 10 – 12. Check out the full line up of performers slated to hit the stage

Friday March 10  

Gin Blossoms

Est: The rock band was formed in 1987 in Tempe, Ariz.

Biggest Hits: “Hey Jealousy” hit No. 25 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 4 on Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart. “Follow You Down,” soared to No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Spin Doctors

Est: The American rock band formed in 1989 in New York City

Biggest Hits: Their first studio album, “Pocket Full Of Kryptonite,” hit the Billboard 200 chart in 1993 and was certified 5x platinum.

Saturday March 11

Eddie Money

Est: Born Edward Joseph Mahoney, Money relinquished his career as a police officer to pursue his musical passionsin 1977

Biggest Hits: “Baby Hold On”, “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Take Me Home Tonight,” which was nominated for a Grammy Award and reached the No. 4 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. “I Wanna Go Back,” also hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart’s top 10.


Est: Starship, a rock band established in 1984, originated as a continuance of the band Jefferson Starship.

Biggest Hits: Their debut album “Knee Deep in the Hoopla,” went platinum and reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart with two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits, “We Built the City” and “Sara.” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart and “It’s Not Over (‘Til It’s Over),” reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Los Lobos

Est: The Grammy-award winning Latin, rock and blues group that was founded in Los Angeles in the early 1970s.

Biggest Hits: “La Bamba” reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Their album “Gates of Gold” in charted on the Billboard 200 chart, Billboard Top Rock Albums chart, Top Album Sales chart and the Tastemaker Albums chart. In 2016, Los Lobos was nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Forever in Your Mind

Est: The group formed in 2013 following their separate “X-Factor” auditions.

Biggest Hits: “FIYM” charted at No. 19 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The group will also star in a Disney Channel vampire-themed comedy series called “Forever Boys,” airing this year.
