It’s going to be another busy weekend for dance music fans in Scottsdale. Trance superstar Gareth Emery makes his return to the valley this Saturday for REPUBLIC at Axis Radius.
Hailing from the UK, Gareth Emery taught himself the piano by four years old, developing his passion for music at a young age. By 19, Emery’s focus was set on learning how to create electronic dance music and by 22 he produced his first track, an instant classic, “Mistral.” Record-breaking stints at the top of Beatport’s trance charts and the creation of his critically acclaimed record label’s Garuda parties followed the release of his first track, along with sold out shows from the UK all the way to Space Miami.
In 2006, Emery created his first podcast marking him as one of the key early adopters of the format and garnering several IDMA Best Podcast award nominations. Emery’s talents have also helped him secure a consistent spot in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, peaking at No. 7. Emery now holds the No. 13 spot.

He also began his residency at Las Vegas’ dayclub/nightclub Marquee, called out by DJ Mag as one of the Top 100 clubs in the world, while securing a weekly show on the popular satellite radio channel Electric Area on Sirius XM.
