Dirtbag’s Phoenix Levels Up Game-Day Fun with Remodel

Dirtbag’s Phoenix is stepping into a new era with a customer-inspired remodel designed to amplify everything fans already love about the Tucson-born sports bar. After its first year in the Valley, the Phoenix location has been refreshed with a focus on better flow, bigger screens and a more immersive atmosphere.

Instead of entering through a separate lobby, guests now walk directly into the bar itself, a design shift that drops them straight into the sound, screens and buzz of a full game-day crowd.

“We listened to our customers after our first year open, and these changes are really about enhancing their experience,” Owner Scott Hibler said. “We are not changing the core of Dirtbag’s. We are making the room work better for the way people use it.”

Inside, the upgrades are centered on visibility and shared viewing. A new indoor Jumbotron now mirrors the outdoor Jumbotron, creating a larger-than-life viewing experience whether guests are inside or out. The former four-TV wall has been replaced with six new televisions, improving sightlines across the entire space and ensuring more consistent views from every seat in the house.

The layout has also been rebalanced so both sides of the bar feel more symmetrical and cohesive, eliminating the sense of competing zones and replacing it with a unified, high-energy environment built for crowds, celebrations and nonstop sports viewing.

The private event space has shifted into a more relaxed lounge-style setting with couches, games and a more social layout. The updated room is designed for group gatherings and private parties while still maintaining the signature Dirtbag’s energy.

On the food side, the summer menu keeps things approachable, focusing on shareable, game-day favorites. Guests can find wings, chicken nachos, fried zucchini, jalapeño poppers, pizzas and a lineup of burgers including the Famous Dirtburger, Big Tex Burger and English Burger, along with grilled chicken sandwiches, fries, tots, onion rings and Caesar salads.

While the upgrades are substantial, the identity of Dirtbag’s remains unchanged. The remodel is less about reinvention and more about refinement, preserving the Tucson-born bar’s spirited personality while enhancing comfort, sightlines and flow. Learn more at dirtbagsphx.com.
