Essie Launches Nail Polish Vending Machines

Didn’t have time to paint your nails before heading to the airport? Essie has you covered.

The nail care brand is slated to open vending machines called Essie Color Boutiques in airports and shopping centers across the country as early as this month. Each Essie Color Boutique will offer 48 shades, including 42 from the main collection and six from the brand’s seasonal collection, at the standard price of $8.50 per bottle.

The first digital machines will open in the Oakland International Airport and the JetBlue terminal at JFK, while others are planned to be installed at Dallas-Fort Worth airport, and California’s Oaks shopping center in Thousand Oaks, as well as the Shops at Mission Viejo.

Essie is one of the latest brands to jump on the beauty vending machine trend, following Sephora’s characteristic black-and-white machines in airports and some JCPenney stores, and Benefit’s distinctive pink airport kiosks.
