If you are a fan of the straight -talking no- nonsense reality star, author and original “Skinnygirl” Bethenny Frankel then her next venture may be something to jot down on your must try list. In case you have been living under a reality- free rock for the last few years, Frankel is the serial entrepreneur and natural food chef who first came to notoriety as one of the original Real Housewives of New York on Bravo (To this day my husband still doesn’t understand why she was ever classified as a “housewife” at a time when she was single with no kids) But I digress… Frankel instantly stood out as a smart, outspoken goal driven workaholic and over the years has been able to spin her ideas into an empire.

Aside from the cookbooks and self help books, Frankel created one of the first bottled low- calorie pre-mixed beverages on the market. And earlier this year she sold the company for in excess of $100 million dollars. Now married with a daughter Frankel spun her RHONY success into her own reality shows “Bethenny Getting Married?” And “ Bethenny Ever After”. So what is her latest venture you might be wondering?

Frankel wants to do for skin care what she has already done for alcoholic beverages…make them as consistent, easy and accessible as possible. Frankel has partnered with Lotta Luv a beauty firm known for its candy lip balms to help create and develop the brand. Originally the company sought out Frankel with the idea of a scented lip gloss line, but as expected she saw a bigger opportunity for a full-fledged skin and body collection. Once the partnership was formed she delved into Skinnygirl Face & Body Solutions and Skinnygirl Mommy.

The skin care range will be available at Wal-Mart stores starting in November for the holiday season. Wal-Mart will begin with stock gift sets, and by Christmas the retailer will boast the entire line of 30 products.

The look of the line mirrors the Skinnygirl Margarita brand with its white and red accents. For Frankel this is just the beginning as her Skinnygirl brand seems to be filled with endless options. She has already introduced three books; a workout DVD; a shapewear and lingerie collection called Smoothers n’ Shapers, nutritional products and daily cleanse products called Skinnygirl Daily Cleanse & Restore.

Bethenny remarked to WWD
“As I see holes, I fill them,” said Frankel, adding she views her many business ventures as “babies,” which she helps to nurture. “I raise them until they grow up and can live on their own. The Margarita and Sangria are now living in an apartment somewhere,” she quipped. “I’m a baby momma.”
