As the weather is cooling down, there couldn't be a better time to hike in the beautiful atmosphere of Tucson, Arizona. In continuation to our "Ten Things To Do This Week", here are four mountains to hike in Tucson.

1. Bauuer at The Rialto Theater 

Remember the famous “Harlem Shake”? Whether you liked it or not, you’ve heard it! The genius behind the music, Baauer, is coming to town this Thursday, November 6. You can’t miss this one!

2. The Loft Cinema 

Going on a date with yourself, friends or a special someone never gets old! The Loft Cinema always offers awesome independent films. Take a break this week, watch a movie and try something different. Find out what’s playing this week at the Loft Cinema here.

3. The Holiday Bazaar in Marana 

This is a multi-vendor event for holiday shopping happening this weekend. Check it out and get a little shopping out of the way!

4. The Rolling Stones Sweet Summer Sun- Hyde Park Live

5. PCOA Art Auction: People Creating Original Art 

An Art Auction benefiting the Pima Council on Aging: "The place to go for HELP when you dont know where to go" 

When: Friday, November 8, 2013 - 6pm-10pm

6. Veterans Rally 2013 

In celebration of Veterans Day and in benefit to those suffering with PTSD and other traumas, Tucson will host the Veterans Rally this Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 12:30pm through 5pm 

7. St. Martins Release at Sonoita Vineyards

This weekend will be the release of Sonoita Vineyards "Tiger's Treat Tawny" Port. This upcoming bottling year will include the 2013 Estate Sonoita AVA Fume Blanc! So far Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Syrah have all been harvested. Have a delicious weekend!

8. Sahuarita Pecan Festival 

The Pecan Festival is a Southern Arizona tradition that will include delicious food from all over southern AZ and endless activities for the whole family!

9. Reid Park Zoo

Before it gets too cold, don't forget to stop by the Reid Park Zoo! The park's own elephant, Semba, is expecting a baby elephant. Perfect for a family outing. The Zoo is open daily from 9am to 4pm. To learn more about Reid Park Zoo, visit their website here!

When: November 2-3, 2013 

Where: 6th Ave & 6th St.; Downtown Tucson.

Get ready Tucsonians! The annual “All Souls Procession” will hit the streets of downtown Tucson this weekend. Complete with music, food and sugar skulls, this event might be one of the most important, inclusive and authentic ceremonies, Tucson hosts. The all souls procession is inspired by Mexico’s famous holiday, Dia de los Muertos. All Souls Weekend is a celebration and mourning of the lives of loved ones who have passed.

Aside from all other activitites this weekend, the actual procession will take place on sunday. The two mile walk will end with a burning of hopes, offerings and wishes from the public for those who have passed. If this seems like something you would be interested in, don't forget to print out this slip below and write your own prayers and offerings down.

Arizona Theatre Company—The Mountain Top

The Arizona Theatre Company puts on their rendition of “The Mountain Top” from October 19 to November 9. This gripping play, written by Katori Hall and directed by Lou Bellamy depicts the night before Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination and the situations he faced during that short period of time. Ticket prices vary.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the Oro Valley Library

Stuffed animal sleepover

Kids, drop off your stuffed animal best friends at the Oro Valley Library where they’ll have a sleepover night of furry fun together, learning about how to search for books on the library catalog, playing board games and eating snacks. Drop off your plushie friend on Tuesday, October 15 from 5-7 p.m. and pick him up again the next day at the same time.
