The holiday season is finally here! Here are some awesome things going on in Tucson this holiday season!

Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Presents Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

 Start off the holiday season right with The Hilton as they host their tree lighting ceremony and celebration, featuring carolers, gingerbread cookies, warm apple cider and a visit from Santa! The event centers on the lighting of a 20-foot Christmas tree with hundreds of beautiful lights! The Event is free for all but will include a cash bar for the adults with beer and cocktails. On top of all the celebration, the event will showcase local youth talent and performances.

When: Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Up until December 21, every Friday and Saturday evening at 6pm, Tucsonans will be able to see live snow fall into the beautiful courtyards of La Encantada Shopping Center. There will be an encore show at 6:45 and in between each show there will be musical groups present to serenade the people with holiday songs! Blancos Tacos & Tequila will be serving Mexican hot cocoa.

Loews Ventana Canyon Rings in the Holidays with Events All Season Long


  *All events listed will be held at Loews Ventana Canyon. 7000 N. Resort Drive Tucson, AZ*

1. The 12 Days of Christmas: 12 nights of live music performances from local performers and holiday treats form the culinary team. The shows will start 6:15-7 p.m. December 8, 2013- December 19, 2013

2. Third Annual Breakfast with Santa: On December 7, from 9-11 a.m., Loews Ventana Canyon will host their breakfast with Santa.

Adults, $20 Kids 6-12yrs, $10 Kids 5 and under, $5

3. Fireside S’mores: Enjoy the tradition s’mores and hot chocolate by the fire experience. Every Saturday from November 16 until December 28. 7-8p.m.

$5 per person

6. Veterans Rally 2013 

In celebration of Veterans Day and in benefit to those suffering with PTSD and other traumas, Tucson will host the Veterans Rally this Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 12:30pm through 5pm 

7. St. Martins Release at Sonoita Vineyards

This weekend will be the release of Sonoita Vineyards "Tiger's Treat Tawny" Port. This upcoming bottling year will include the 2013 Estate Sonoita AVA Fume Blanc! So far Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Syrah have all been harvested. Have a delicious weekend!

9. Reid Park Zoo
