Now that our bellies are full of candy, we’re in the mood for something a little more substantial. Luckily, there are a trio of special dinners and lunches going on around the Valley in the coming days. Check them out:

Bourbon Steak at Fairmont Scottsdale will host a four-course dinner with wine pairings from Plumpjack (the winery’s managing partner, John Conover, will be in attendance). Nov. 6, 6:30p. 480.513.6002 (call to make your reservations now, as only 40 guests will be able to take part), www.michaelmina.net.

Roy Yamaguchi

Celebrate Roy’s 20th anniversary with a Tribute Luncheon at Roy’s Desert Ridge at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. The five-course lunch will be capped off with performances by hula dancers, fire dancers and Hawaiian musicians. Nov. 8, 12:30p. 480.419.7697, www.roysrestaurant.com.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has always been known for its stellar bottles. Now, the steakhouse is giving its customers eco-friendly wine options with its new organic, sustainable or biodynamic varieties. Try them at the “Green is the New Red” dinner. Nov. 11, 6:30p. www.flemingssteakhouse.com.
