Brand-new to Chandler, Tikka Drive Indian Cuisine is serving authentic Indian food through a drive-thru window without sacrificing craft, quality, or cultural integrity. At the center of it all is founder Rahul Sahota, whose early years were defined by networking to bring an ambitious idea to life.
“After years of hard work, learning, and raising capital in my early 20s, I built Tikka Drive, Arizona’s first drive-thru Indian restaurant,” he said. “Our mission is to help modernize and revolutionize the Indian food experience by combining speed, quality, and consistency while staying true to authentic flavors.”
Unlike conventional fast-food models that rely on freezers and reheating, Tikka Drive emphasizes freshness at its core. The kitchen operates without freezers or microwaves, instead focusing on made-to-order preparation that prioritizes ingredient integrity and traditional cooking methods.

One of the most distinctive elements is its open kitchen paired with a drive-thru, where guests can watch food being prepared in real time. Fresh naan is made in imported clay ovens, visible right from the drive-thru lane, turning what is usually a transactional moment into something closer to a culinary performance.
Tikka Drive offers customer favorites like Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Chicken Korma, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Chana Masala, each served over basmati rice and prepared with traditional spices and sauces made from scratch. The menu also includes sides like raita and basmati rice, and drinks such as mango lassi and spiced lemonade.

Sahota sees the restaurant as part of a larger ecosystem of entrepreneurship and community impact. His journey ultimately led him to create the Tikka Tribe Business Club, a nonprofit initiative designed to mentor and support young entrepreneurs as they develop their own ideas and ventures.
Tikka Drive is a statement about what modern Indian cuisine can look like. By merging innovation with authenticity and speed with craft, the concept is carving out a new lane in Arizona’s evolving food scene, one drive-thru order at a time. Learn more at tikkadrive.com.
