Apr. 2, 2024. Today USA Pickleball, the National Governing Body for the sport of pickleball in the U.S., hosted an introductory pickleball clinic at Arizona Athletic Grounds as part of the launch of its official charitable arm, USA Pickleball Serves. USA Pickleball Serves partnered with Mesa Public Schools to host more than 100 6th grade students today for a fun, educational clinic, entitled Pickleball for All. During the clinic, students were divided into two groups and rotated between six stations to learn pickleball fundamentals and play games. After all rotations were complete, students watched high-level players compete in an exhibition match. At the event's end, all students received a swag bag with pickleball equipment to encourage playing the game and growing the sport. The free clinic comes at the beginning of National Pickleball in Month, and will kick off USA Pickleball’s Golden Ticket Tournament presented by Lerner & Rowe being held at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa from Wednesday, April 3 through Sunday, April 7.
