Nov. 8, 2020. For the first time, the NASCAR Sprint Cup - season ending - Championship Race was held in Phoenix. Prior to the race, NASCAR fans honored #48 Jimmie Johnson (7 time Sprint Cup Champion). This was the final NASCAR race of Johnson's unbelievable career. Chase Elliot, a Hendrick Motorsports team mate of Johnson's, convincingly took home the weekend's 2020 Championship trophy. Our photographer, Danny Raustadt, was one of three Arizona photographers selected to photograph this race by NASCAR.
