Feb. 5, 2017. Congratulations to Hideki Matsuyama for successfully defending his title as he won in a playoff for the second straight year. A record crowd of 655,434 attended the tournament with beautiful weather all week and the players did not disappoint by posting low scores and challenged each other to the very end. Congratulations to the Thunderbirds who once again provided a very organized tournament while increasing the charitable proceeds surpassing $110 million on their 79th Anniversary.
