Mar. 15, 2015. Xavier College Preparatory and Saks Fifth Avenue partnered for the 8th consecutive year and raised scholarship funds for the more than 40% of Xavier students who receive financial assistance. Sponsored by the Xavier Mothers' Guild, the event at The Phoenician began with a social at 10:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon and fashion show at 12:00 p.m. Saks Fifth Avenue and the Agency Arizona models showcased spring fashions, and Xavier and Brophy students from the class of 2015 took their turns on the runway. The theme was "Tapestry" in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the plaid uniform skirt that Xavier introduced in 1965.
