Fearless Kitty Rescue is participating in Arizona Gives Day – an annual giving movement uniting non-profits, big and small, new and established, to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Arizona through online giving.

Fearless Kitty Rescue’s overall goal is to raise $20,000 which will go primarily toward medical related expenses and major medical surgeries like dentals. This year two anonymous donors have agreed to match funds up to $10,000 which provides a great start for this fundraising effort. Kim Kamins, President & CEO of Fearless Kitty Rescue, said, “Arizona Gives Day is such an important fundraising opportunity for us because it takes place at a time of the year when we see an increase in the number of kitties that are coming into the rescue. All of the kitties we take in need some kind of medical care, this funding helps us with the medical expenses that come with that care.”

This year contributions can be made between March 16 and April 5 and all those donations will count toward Fearless Kitty Rescue’s grand giving day total on Arizona Gives Day on April 6. All donations from March 16 through Gives Day on April 6, made through the Arizona Gives page, will be matched up to the $10,000.

The Arizona Gives program is run by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers Forum. The event was started in 2013 to connect people with causes they believe in and build a lasting, stronger spirit of philanthropy.
