On the search for your soul mate? How about a new, four-legged soul mate? Arcadia fave La Grande Orange wants to help match you with the perfect pup this Valentine’s Day because let’s be honest, the best kind of love is puppy love. On Sunday, February 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., stop by the LGO patio for their “Be Mine Pawty” featuring tons of furry fun like doggie treat decorating and bandana making for sweet shelter pups. Best of all, attendees will have the chance to meet (and hopefully adopt) some adorable doggos from Almost There and Community Canine Project.
Almost There rescues mothers and their pups from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control and places them in-home foster care until the puppies are of adoptable age and then facilitates adoptions of both pups and moms. Community Canine Project works to comfort and support dogs in the shelter system through group walk outings, small playgroup sessions, and other enrichment activities.
In addition to the Pawty’s activities, 10% of retail and food sales between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at La Grande Orange will be donated to the nonprofit groups when the organizations are mentioned at checkout. For more info visit La Grande Orange.
