Waste Management Phoenix Open 2016: Where to Eat

SOL Guac
After a day cheering on your favorite golfers during Waste Management Phoenix Open this week, it’s time to kick back with a great meal and thirst-quenching cocktails. Here are a few Valley restaurants near TPC Scottsdale that you should check out post-greens.
Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar (pictured on homepage) is located at TPC Scottsdale–so you can’t get much closer to an impeccable dining experience. Savor a menu infused with flavors of South and Central America in a casual atmosphere. We love the shareable small plates and the signature Suviche (sushi and ceviche) bar experience. While there, sample more than 150 rums (one of the largest selections in the Valley).
After a day on the green, you might be craving, well, greens. That is where True Food Kitchen at Scottsdale Quarter comes in. Sip natural refreshers to perk up and dig into hearty but healthy eats like street tacos and house-make turkey lasagna. Grab a seat on the patio for great people-watching.
Drink up at OHSO Brewery + Distillery in Scottsdale. Dig into a section a jaw-dropping burgers, surf and turf and more on the comfy pet-friendly patio. Be sure to save some room for some of the 36 beers that are on tap.
For authentic Mexican eats, head to Jalapeno Inferno Market Street at DC Ranch in Scottsdale. Order the award-winning green corn tamales, the light but flavorful top-shelf ceviche, street tacos, enchiladas and much more deliciousness.
Craving something sophisticated? Zinc Bistro at Kierland Commons  in Scottsdale dishes up incredible French eats that range from steak tartare to seared foie gras, bubbling onion soup to oysters.
Thirsty? Get to Four Peaks Grill & Tap in Scottsdale not only serves up Four Peaks’ famous brews–from Kiltlifter to 8th Street Ale–but there is a selection of big burgers, alehouse sandwiches, pizzas, steak dishes and much more to satisfy a hearty post-game appetite.
At The Hash Kitchen in Scottsdale, enjoy a “DIY” Bloody Mary Bar that includes more than 50 premium toppings like mini cheeseburger sliders to king crab. As a pre-gaming festivity, The Hash Kitchen will provide one fresh fruit-flavored mimosa for a penny for each purchased entrée. Live weekend entertainment will include a DJ.
For those hearty craft beer and barbecue lovers, Hogs n’ Hops BBQ will serve up a variety of traditional southern sliders and ribs along with classic barbecue sides. Hogs n’ Hops will offer a complimentary Hush Puppies appetizer with every entrée purchased.

One of Chef Aaron May’s newer concepts, the Goodwood Tavern speakeasy atmosphere is the perfect pre- or post-tournament spot. Order the “Tiger Woods,” a delightful rum and maraschino liqueur cocktail, a signature cocktail at the Scottsdale restaurant.
High Street is a short drive from TPC Scottsdale, and there you’ll find Modern Margarita and its freshly made margaritas, gourmet street tacos, burgers, fresh guacamole and shareable options. Check its Web site for daily specials, like Taco Tuesday and Tequila Thursday.
The Living Room Wine Cafe is a grab spot to grab a drink at Market Street at DC Ranch; the restaurant has 35 wines and sangrias by the glass. Find a seat on the awesome patio and nosh on lamb chops, steamed clams, shrimp cocktail, meat and cheese boards and much more.
At Sol Mexican Cocina at Scottsdale Quarter, enjoy modern spins on traditional Baja fare. You can’t go wrong with ordering up Sol’s unique guacamole options (pictured) and a margarita or two. For a heartier appetite, order from a variety of taco plates, seafood and steak entrees and inventive desserts, to name a few of the enticing eats.
