In honor of National Wine Day, customers of Bluewater Grill Phoenix pay just 50 percent for their first bottle of wine. The office is an extension of Bluewater’s everyday no-corkage-fee policy. Available on National Wine Day, May 25, only.
Creamistry just introduced cool new customizable ice cream sandwiches (pictured) to the company’s array of frozen delights. Guests can choose from four varieties—Brownie, Cap’n Crunch Marshmallow Treat, Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Treat and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Marshmallow Treat–all of which are freshly baked in-house. The ice cream sandwiches can be made custom-made to order with any ice cream flavor, with Creamistry’s liquid nitrogen freezing process. Ice cream sandwiches retail for $6.95 each.
Tonight, Thursday, May 24 at 10 p.m., Sedona Chef Lisa Dahl will take center stage on Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay” where she’ll go head-to-head on the “Grill Me” episode for a chance to take on the celebrity chef himself, Bobby Flay. The wildly popular show scouts top chefs from across the country to battle one another by preparing a signature dish using a secret ingredient. The winner advances to the final round with a chance to defeat Flay. Dahl will compete against Louisiana Chef Nathan Gresham to determine who can smoke Bobby Flay. Good luck, Chef Dahl!
Sonata’s Restaurant and Grgich Hills Estate come together to host a four-course dinner and wine pairing event on Thursday, May 31. Each course features a modern European dish complemented by a different Grgich Hills wine. The dinner is $85 per person.
Beckett’s Table will once again host its beloved Grown-Up’s Table Dinner Series for the summer season. The exclusive dinners feature a three-course meal and drinks by Chef Justin Beckett enjoyed around the community table. Each week, Chef Beckett will release the night’s unique themed menu on social media. Grown-Ups Table will take place on select Wednesday evenings in June, July and August starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $48 per person and can be purchased online at: https://www.facebook.com/pg/BeckettsTable/events/?ref=page_internal.
