Holla Brunch Girl, a new rooftop brunch concept from Evening Entertainment Group, launched September 26 with live DJs, pop singalongs, brunch fare, cocktails and plenty of reasons to stick around long after the first mimosa. The 21-and-over experience takes over a rooftop in Old Town Scottsdale’s Entertainment District every Saturday, turning traditional weekend brunch into a daytime party.
Local DJs C-los and Jon Amaral, both familiar faces in Scottsdale’s nightlife scene, will bring a mix of pop favorites, crowd requests and high-energy tracks to the daytime setting. Guests can expect opportunities to sing along, dance between bites and take part in games and other entertainment throughout brunch.
“Holla Brunch Girl is about creating the kind of brunch where you come for the food and cocktails but stay because you’re having way too much fun to leave,” said Les Corieri, of Evening Entertainment Group. “We wanted to build something that feels energetic, social and a little unexpected; where you can sing with your friends, enjoy great food and cocktails, and turn an ordinary Saturday into something worth talking about.”
The setting takes inspiration from sun-soaked boardwalks and weekend getaways, with warm wood finishes, tropical greenery, pink and green accents, neon and plenty of photo-friendly details. The menu offers options like a Watermelon Feta Handheld, Açai Bowl and Chicken & Waffles.
There’s also “Girl Brunch,” a tower loaded with an assortment of favorites for anyone who has ever struggled to choose just one thing from the menu. The cocktail menu follows the same spirit, with Signature Mimosa Towers, tropical-inspired drinks and Frozé.
Select cocktails will also be available in “Me or We” formats, giving guests the choice between an individual drink or a larger version meant for sharing. The Espresso Martini Soft Serve puts a cool spin on one of brunch’s most recognizable cocktails, making it part dessert and part pick-me-up.
