Clever Koi (pictured) in Phoenix rolled out new spring menu featuring new dumplings, steamed buns and noodles. Standouts include the tuna chips and ahi crudo with wasabi guacamole; pig face dumplings paired with kimchee, house-made Sriracha and house-picked peppers; crave-able duck curry noodles; zesty lemon pepper ramen; and banana fritters dessert.
Reserve your spot for the Melville Dinner Wine Maker’s Dinner with Chad Melville, Wednesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer’s. Courses include brined pork chop and salmon with slow-roasted fennel and pernot. MAD Greens’ farm-fresh “Health Nut” salad is available starting on March 2 at all five locations. The salad is brimming with spinach, edamame, carrots, sunflower seeds, egg and a slightly spicy Piri-Piri tofu, made from a special MAD Greens marinade of crushed red chilies and other secret ingredients. A house-made roasted red pepper vinaigrette tops off this fresh, flavorful dish. Available through May 15.
After 11 successful years in business, Chef Albert Hall and his wife (and co-owner) Lila Yamashiro have announced to their staff that they will close their award-winning restaurant Acacia Real Food & Cocktails in mid-May.  Until then, they invite everyone to enjoy their signature style cuisine and outstanding service that has made this iconic Tucson restaurant a long time favorite; a grand finale event will be held May 15.  Acacia gift cards will be accepted at the restaurant thru May 8.
Chef Mel Mecinas of Four Seasons Resort Scottdale at Troon North and  LDV winemaker Curt Dunham join forces for the Vineyard to Table Winemaker Dinner on Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Scottsdale’s LDV Wine Gallery. Livewire announces Lagunitas Couch Trippin’ Scottsdale with Lucius will make its way to town Friday, March 11. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. agunitas brewing company is making their way to Austin on a special tour that will stop in Scottsdale and many other cities across the country. They will be performing what they call “freaktacular” entertainment and Scottsdale attendees will have the opportunity to see special guest, Lucius. There will also be entertainment from their Beer Circus, GreenScreen Craziness, and some couches from their loft as well. They have partnered with the nonprofit organization O+ festivals, which connects musicians, artists and health and wellness from various locations all around the U.S. This is a 21-plus event.
Starting Monday, March 7, there will be 21 new wines, four delicious bruschettas and one healthy added to the menu at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. The new kale salad consists of chopped kale and romaine lettuce, artichokes, cucumber, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes and Kalamata olives tossed in a citrus vinaigrette. The bruschetta board will let you choose three of four bruschetta options: marinated mushroom and roasted red pepper, classic tomato and basil, marinated artichoke and an olive medley.
