Though we may be going out to eat less often nowadays, tonight would be a prime time to splurge on a nice meal. Today, restaurants throughout Arizona will participate in Dining Out For Life, an annual fundraising event that raises money for AIDS service organizations. A portion of your bill will go Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS and Northland Cares. These two organizations support thousands of people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS across the state, and their research benefits millions more all over the world. This year’s goal: $155,000.
To participate in Dining Out For Life, simply visit one of the following eateries: www.diningoutforlife.com/phoenix/participating. A few that caught my eye include Eddie’s House, Lisa G Cafe Wine Bar and Cork. Even if you don’t have time for a sit-down dinner, you can even grab a scoop or smoothie at participating Cold Stone Creamery and Jamba Juice locations.
