Chandler’s popular modern Western saloon will be offering the patrons of Westgate Entertainment District a new experience with the arrival of its second location later this summer. Settling into a 5, 370 square foot space next door to Margaritaville near the WaterDance Plaza, Whiskey Rose Bar & Grill will be serving up lunch and dinner comprised of savory barbecue smoked on site and specialty burgers and sandwiches. The food is priced at a reasonable $7-$18, allowing everyone to settle in and enjoy great flavor. It proves impossible not to find a refreshing drink at the sprawling bar of 24 seats, filled with a vast selection of beers on tap, and of course, whiskey.
Three to four nights a week, live bands will serenade guests with light rock and country music on the stage inside the restaurant. The warm feel of large brown booths with butcher-block tables and hardwood floors compliment the relaxed theme of the bar, encouraging guests to slow down with a drink and some great food. Thirty big screen T.V.’s cover the walls to be watched with leisure and for those interested, a dance floor is available for when it’s time to cut loose at night.
Bret Seltzer, a partner at Whiskey Rose, proudly shares his hopes for the establishment stating “We are thrilled to open our new Whiskey Rose location in Glendale. We believe Whiskey Rose is the perfect concept to complement the existing shops and restaurants at the Westgate Entertainment District. Between this great location, our wonderful service and delicious food, we’re sure this new location will be a huge success.” www.whiskeyrosesaloon.com. –Victoria Fouts
