Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill has launched a reimagined brunch menu that blends Asian-inspired creativity with American comfort – creating dishes that surprise, satisfy, and give back.
“Brunch isn’t supposed to be boring; it should surprise you a little,” Owner John Banquil said. “We wanted every dish to be bold, full of flavor, and something you can’t wait to come back for.” With that ethos in mind, the restaurant has introduced a fresh slate of shareables, entrées, and cocktails.
Served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the menu leans into the unexpected. Guests can kick things off with inventive drinks like the Monk’s Awakening, which fuses reposado tequila, Amaro Nonino, and cold brew coffee liqueur, or the Seoul Paloma, a citrusy, smoky blend of tequila, mezcal, grapefruit, and Korean chili. For those looking to share, the all-new Benedict Fries are already making waves. This starter layers crispy fries with candied bacon, green onions, and a drizzle of sriracha hollandaise.
Entree highlights include the Sizzling Steak Hash, where New York strip is wok-tossed with peppers, spinach, and gochujang before being served over roasted potatoes. The Korean Fried Chicken Benedict has poached eggs, spicy syrup, and marinated chicken on an English muffin. There’s also the Tempura Chicken & Waffle, topped with spicy miso sauce and served with syrup or the Black Orchid Bowl, featuring blackened ahi tuna, avocado, and Asian slaw over sushi rice.
Classic comforts get the Ling & Louie’s twist in the Bourbon-Caramel French Toast, dressed with caramelized banana and mascarpone, and the tropical Buttermilk Pancakes topped with coconut cream, mango, strawberry, and macadamia nuts. Health-conscious brunch-goers can check out Ling’s Omelet – a gluten-free mix of spinach, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese with sriracha hollandaise – and Louie’s Omelet, packed with NY strip, bacon, and a wasabi sour cream drizzle.
Favorites like the fiery Bangkok Spritz, decadent Javatini, and Louie’s Spicy Bloody Mary are here to stay, along with signature staples such as Louie’s Donut Holes, Blackened Chicken & Pork Hash, Breakfast Bao, and the Not Boring Burrito. Through the restaurant’s ongoing “Big Hearted Brunch” program, a portion of brunch sales supports a local nonprofit every two months.
Currently, proceeds benefit Foothills Animal Rescue, which works to save and rehome pets across the Valley. From November through December, donations will go to Circle the City, a nonprofit providing healthcare and support to people experiencing homelessness.
