Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is excited to host a signature alfresco paella and wine pairing experience on August 28, beginning at 7 p.m. This Spanish-inspired event will unfold across the resort’s picturesque Bill’s Grill patio and Canyon Club restaurant, offering guests the chance to indulge in bold flavors while enjoying ambiance beneath Tucson’s stunning dark sky.
The lively reception-style gathering will feature a variety of Spanish-inspired dishes crafted by Executive Chef Ryan Clark and his acclaimed culinary team. These creations will be paired with selections from Maven’s Oath, the resort’s proprietary wine label. Guests will be treated to live-action cooking stations and elaborate serving displays designed to engage the senses and elevate the dining experience.
The menu highlights an array of options, including seafood and vegetarian paellas, a selection of tapas such as roasted and marinated vegetables, papas bravas, empanadas, grilled octopus, and tinned oysters. In addition, guests can savor curated meats and cheeses, artisanal breads accompanied by Spanish olive oil, aioli, romesco sauce, and fresh arugula. The offerings also feature marinated chicken a la plancha with Spanish sausage, alongside a variety of desserts to complete the meal.
Wine pairings for the evening include Maven’s Oath Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand, Chardonnay from Sonoma, California, Pinot Noir and Cabernet from Sonoma, housemade sangrias and Kalimotxo cocktails crafted with Maven’s Oath Cabernet.
Guests have the option to book the Maven’s Oath Paella Party Package, which includes two tickets, an overnight stay at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, complimentary parking, and a Spanish-themed welcome amenity upon arrival.
