Part of the globally recognized AC Hotels by Marriott collection, the new hotel brings the brand’s signature “Perfectly Precise” guest experience to the city. Developed, co-owned and managed by PEG Companies, the property blends contemporary style with energy and creativity.

“Old Town Scottsdale continues to evolve as a premier travel destination,” said Joe Madera, Vice President of Hospitality at PEG Companies. “Our vision for this property was to introduce a hospitality experience that feels intentional, refined, and deeply connected to its surroundings. We’re proud to invest in a property that brings long-term value to the heart of this community.”

The hotel features 168 guest rooms, each reflecting AC Hotels’ clean, European aesthetic. Sleek furnishings, hardwood flooring and open-concept wardrobes maximize space, while built-in USB ports and complimentary Wi-Fi help guests stay connected throughout their visit. The property is also pet-friendly, welcoming small dogs up to 50 pounds, and offers valet-only parking with a three-level underground garage.

The ground level sets the tone with an inviting lobby and the signature AC Lounge, where guests can enjoy tapas-style small plates, cocktails and craft beers. The space blends modern European sensibility with subtle desert inspiration drawn from nearby galleries and creative spaces within the Scottsdale Arts District.

Collaborative tables, ample plug-in access and intuitive service elements make the lounge equally suited for casual meetings, social gatherings or a quiet place to unwind. Each morning, the AC Kitchen serves a European-inspired continental breakfast. For meetings and events, the hotel offers several spaces equipped with audiovisual technology, providing a polished setting for corporate gatherings and private celebrations.

Guests looking to recharge can head to the top floor, where a 950-square-foot fitness center is open 24/7. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views across the Valley, while just steps away, a rooftop pool invites guests to relax with panoramic vistas of Camelback Mountain and the Old Town skyline.

Also crowning the property is Cielito, an intimate rooftop bar and restaurant developed in collaboration with The Wayfaring Group. With approximately 70 seats, the rooftop concept delivers a modern dining experience inspired by the coastal and desert regions of Northwest Mexico.

Chef Shon Foster, known for his work with luxury resort Amangiri, created a menu built around bright citrus, charred ingredients and regional flavors, designed for sharing and savoring. The cocktail program complements the menu with agave-forward drinks and seasonal ingredients.

“With Cielito, we wanted to create something that feels vibrant yet grounded; a rooftop experience inspired by the coastal and desert regions of Northwest Mexico but interpreted in a way that feels natural to Scottsdale,” Chef Foster said. “The menu is built around bright citrus, smoke, and shareable dishes that invite people to slow down, connect, and stay awhile, especially at sunset.”

Located within walking distance of local galleries, restaurants, nightlife and retail, the AC Hotel Scottsdale Old Town offers visitors an easy gateway to everything that makes Old Town one of the Valley’s most popular destinations. Learn more at AC Hotel Scottsdale Old Town | Modern Hotel.
