Downtown Phoenix has a new destination for travelers and locals looking to unwind, dine and connect. Denū Hotel & Spa officially opened October 12, introducing a 17-story, 236-room property that combines upscale accommodations with wellness amenities, rooftop dining and event spaces.

Located steps from the Phoenix Convention Center and the city’s arts, culture, sports and entertainment venues, Denū is part of the Meritage Collection and a partnership involving Pacific Hospitality Group, Berger Holdings and JWG Investments.
Designed by global architecture and design firm Gensler, the property draws inspiration from the contrast between downtown Phoenix and the surrounding Sonoran Desert. Warm earth tones, natural textures, sculptural details and curated artwork carry the desert-inspired aesthetic throughout the hotel.

“Denū brings a new level of hospitality to Downtown Phoenix, with guest experience curated around thoughtful design, elevated dining, integrated wellness and meaningful connection,” said Linda Ding, general manager. “Our goal is to create a destination that feels equally relevant to travelers and the community around us, from Solstone Holistic Spa and wellness programming to our restaurants, rooftop and social spaces.”
A centerpiece of the property is Solstone Holistic Spa, described as Phoenix’s first hammam-inspired spa. The co-ed sanctuary combines steam, sauna, relaxation spaces and restorative treatments inspired by traditional bathing rituals. Signature services include the Traditional Hammam Journey, featuring a black soap cleanse, mineral salt exfoliation and argan oil massage, as well as desert-inspired body treatments.

Guests also have access to a 24-hour fitness center, yoga studio and wellness classes. Denū’s culinary offerings include Sartén Kitchen & Bar, an all-day restaurant celebrating modern Sonoran flavors. Weekend guests can gather for a shareable brunch featuring pastries, seasonal fruit and a made-to-order cinnamon roll finished tableside with mesquite honey butter.

Nidos Rooftop Bar serves Latin-Mediterranean small plates alongside live music and DJ programming. At street level, Blend Café offers specialty coffee, pastries and grab-and-go options. The hotel features more than 22,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space across 18 venues, accommodating everything from business meetings to weddings and celebrations.
Guestrooms feature rainfall showers and contemporary furnishings, while the 970-square-foot Denū Penthouse offers a separate living area for extended stays and entertaining. For more information, visit denuhotel.com.
