Married/Single: In a relationship

City you live in: Tempe, AZ

A typical day in my life includes…

I get woken up by Scout and my morning-person boyfriend at around 6 or 7 am (ugh), take Scout out to release some energy before the day begins, make coffee (I’ve become a French press pro, nbd), and then start my workday! At work, I focus on my social media and influencer relations clients while also keeping up with my own social media and engagement! Then I come home to my boys (Scout and Steven), we make dinner, watch Love Island, drink some sleepy tea, and pass out! Then repeat forever <3

I was born…

in McHenry, Illinois. A tiny town northwest of Chicago that will always be in my heart (and on my body forever because I have a coordinate tattoo to the house I grew up in).

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the weather! It’s beautiful all the time and even though I’ve been here for about 5 years now, I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of it or used to it. I love being outdoors!

I’m listening to…

Honeybee by The Head and the Heart.

My family…

is huge and a little nuts but so supportive! My parents really raised my sister and I to believe that we can do whatever we want as long as we put passion behind it and I find that still to be true! Also now that I’m an adult, I’m VERY thankful that my parents raised me to be very independent and handy around the house. I fixed a toilet the other day all by myself and it hasn’t broken again since then, so I’d say that’s pretty impressive! But my family is the best and I love and miss them so much because everyone is scattered all across the US now!

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

if we’re talking dead or alive, hands down it would be Robin Williams. I would just want to soak up his wisdom and humor!

One thing I cannot live without…

my family, including my boyfriend and his family as well! And of course Scout! I don’t know what I would do without all of them in my life, they make me so happy!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a teacher, a veterinarian, a writer, an artist, a superstar (not just any star, a SUPERstar), and a fashion designer. There was probably more but that’s all I can remember!

I’m inspired by…

my past boss Sam Abrahart. She’s just an inspiring woman and leader and I’m so happy I was able to learn from her and I continue to learn from her still! She’s also a really great friend and person as well. She inspires so many people in so many ways and I love that and aim to be like that one day!

The one person who motivates me is…

my boyfriend, Steven. He’s so intelligent and any time I’m feeling down or doubting myself personally or professionally, he gives me such good real-world advice and I appreciate that so much. The nice lovey-dovey words of encouragement are definitely nice, but I believe you need a partner who will tell you how it is at the same time! I feel like I wouldn’t have had the courage to fully leap into my freelance career without his motivation!

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

climate change. I’m a HUGE advocate for the environment and everything relating to sustainability! I wish we could just reverse time and bring our knowledge about the environment back to 50 years ago so we could get a huge head start at restoring the planet.

The perfect day would be…

a summer day on a boat on a lake with my family, Steven, and Scout. Just cruising around, tubing, drinking beers, eating cold fruit, and watching Scout try to take every opportunity to jump into the water (he’s a Labrador Retriever).

My first job was…

Raymond’s Bowl in Johnsburg, Illinois. The BEST job ever to this day! People always laugh when I tell them I worked at a bowling alley in high school but it was the best! The owners knew my mom (small town things) and so I just walked in one day and asked for a job and I was there until I left for college at ASU. I even came back to work a little bit during my first winter break of college!

My favorite escape…

Walking. Sounds like an “old person thing” but I love going on walks, I feel like it just really clears my head and puts me back into a good mood if I’m not feeling my best. Or back home going on drives out in the countryside during the summers, so peaceful!

My life…

gets interesting. Steven and I are in the process of building a house so lots of adulting with that, Scout always keeps us busy, work never stops (because social media never stops), and creating content for myself can get time-consuming on top of everything but I wouldn’t trade any of this for the world! I’m very excited to continue life’s ups and downs with everyone through my Instagram and Youtube!

I’m currently working on…

content creation for my freelance client and content for myself and my Instagram! Content never stops!

Always…

stay true to who you are. Sounds corny, but couldn’t be more true.

Never…

change who you are or over-promise both personally or professionally.

Favorite Quote…

“Everything is temporary.” It’s gotten me through so much in life!

Biggest Dream…

to completely be my own boss and have a beautiful family of my own (at the same time).

My Pet Peeve(s)…

when people don’t recycle when there is clearly a recycling bin accessible! Drives me NUTS!
