Troon Country Club To Debut New Clubhouse

Built in 1986, with its latest renovation in 2003, Scottsdale’s Troon Country Club has announced that the club with debut a new clubhouse in December. The $7.5-million clubhouse expansion and renovation, from Douglas Fredrikson Architects of Phoenix (who is the original clubhouse architect!), will provide members with new and expanded club amenities, ranging from new dining, a wellness center and much more.

When it opens in later this year, the Troon Country Club clubhouse will have an entirely new look and feel as the overall décor and clubhouse appointments have all been updated. According to the press release, a second floor has been added on the north side of the building and will be home to 9,000-sq.-ft. wellness center. On the first floor, a new library will serve as a multipurpose member activity and meeting room, while a remodeled Quail’s Nest lounge will include a larger, golf course-and-mountain-facing bar and an expanded outdoor dining area with spectacular views of Pinnacle Peak. In addition, the golf shop will increase in size and the club will debut a new casual Members’ Grille. Enhancements are also being made to the clubhouse arrival experience at the porte cochere and entry hall.
