Scottsdale is America’s Fastest-Growing Startup City, Report

According to a recent report by York-IE, U.S. startup companies received $78.5 billion in funding in the fourth quarter of 2021, and those that received significant funding were not just located in the Silicon Valley or in other major tech hotspots. 

In fact, Scottsdale-based startup companies received enough funding to put the Arizona city on the top of the list as the fastest-growing startup city in the U.S.

Three private startup companies with headquarters in Scottsdale each received nine-figure funding rounds in 2021: AI-recruiting startup Paradox received a $200 million Series C fund; property management platform Lessen received a $170 million Series B fund; and real estate flipping platform Stoa DBA FlipOS received a $136 million Series B fund. 

Together, these three Scottsdale companies received a total of $506 million, representing a huge growth in startup funding in Scottsdale and making it the fastest growing place for startups in the fourth quarter of 2021.
