This fall, Castle Hot Springs will raise a glass to the debut of Desert Vines, a new multi-day wine and culinary series. Recently named the No. 1 Resort in Arizona by Travel + Leisure and ranked among the Top 15 Resorts in the U.S., the resort is launching this new series on October 21, 2025. The inaugural weekend will be hosted by Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, founder of the Michelin-starred Frasca Hospitality Group.
Set within the resort’s secluded Sonoran Desert canyon, Desert Vines will celebrate hand-selected varietals — from rare finds to classics — through immersive masterclasses, wine-paired dinners, and intimate tastings with some of the most dynamic voices in the industry.
The Debut Weekend with Bobby Stuckey
Guests can choose from two signature experiences or enjoy both as part of an extended stay. On October 21, Stuckey will lead a masterclass exploring the celebrated wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia, featuring iconic regional styles alongside innovative next-generation producers ($150 per person).
On October 22, the spotlight turns to an elegant five-course wine dinner prepared in collaboration with Castle Hot Springs’ Executive Chef Chris Knouse and Level 2 Sommelier Sarah Foote ($500 per person). Each course will highlight the dynamics between terroir-driven wines and seasonal, farm-grown ingredients.
“Desert Vines is a natural extension of our culinary ethos,” General Manager Kevin Maguire said. “Each moment is designed to offer guests a meaningful connection to flavor, craft, and the land.”
A Culinary Program Rooted in the Land
Castle Hot Springs’ dining program is anchored in its on-site farm, which produces more than 200 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and florals each year. Menus at the resort’s award-winning restaurant, Harvest, evolve daily to reflect what’s fresh from the fields.
The beverage program mirrors this approach, with wine and non-alcoholic pairings crafted to complement each dish. Desert Vines builds on this philosophy, offering guests the chance to learn, taste, and connect with the food and wine culture that defines the resort.
Between pours, guests can experience the wellness and adventure offerings, from soaking in its rare, lithium-rich hot springs to guided hikes, Watsu water therapy, paddleboard yoga, and UTV tours. The property’s 1,100 acres blend luxury with nature, creating the perfect backdrop for both indulgence and introspection.
Desert Vines runs October 21-23, 2025. Tickets for the masterclass and dinner are priced separately and exclude accommodations. Learn more at castlehotsprings.com.
