If you’ve ever wondered what might be hiding inside an $11.55 million Arcadia home, here’s your chance to find out…and maybe take a piece of it home with you.
Griffin Estate Sales is bringing its latest sale to a 9,913-square-foot property on October 1 and 2, and the circumstances make this one particularly intriguing. The home was recently sold for $11.55 million and is now undergoing a complete remodel, meaning nearly everything inside is being sold.

The collection includes designer and luxury furniture, fine art, statement lighting, collectibles and antique-quality pieces. Among the more unusual finds are several large architectural pieces that came from a church in France, adding a little European history to an already eclectic collection. For Griffin Estate Sales, the sale is another chapter in nearly two decades of work in Arizona.
Owner Judi Scanlon has been running the company locally for 19 years and has handled some notable estates along the way, including that of Golden Globe-winning producer Norman Rosemont, father of actress Romy Rosemont and father-in-law of actor Stephen Root. The company has also conducted sales connected to the Bidwill and Earnhardt families.

Today, Scanlon co-manages Griffin with her daughter, Kailey Loud, who has helped introduce estate sales to a younger generation of shoppers through social media. The approach seems to be working. Griffin has been seeing significant interest in its recent sales, including more than 1,000 shoppers at a North Scottsdale sale last month. Some shoppers arrived as early as 5 a.m. to get a jump on the crowd.

That kind of turnout could make this sale an especially busy one. Between the home’s size, its history and the unusual collection inside, there’s plenty to explore for shoppers who enjoy the thrill of finding something they weren’t expecting.
The Griffin Estate Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, October 1, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 2, at 5902 E. Arcadia Lane. With nearly an entire home being cleared out ahead of its remodel, shoppers may want to arrive early! Learn more at griffinestatesales.com.
