One of the Valley’s fastest-growing Pilates studios is making its East Valley debut. Workshop Pilates, known for pioneering heated mat Pilates in Arizona, will open its fourth location in January at Northside at SanTan Village, introducing a fully immersive fitness experience to the Gilbert community.

The new 4,200-square-foot studio is designed to inspire and energize, featuring a reformer Pilates room that brings Workshop’s signature low-light, music-driven experience to the reformer, as well as a heated mat Pilates room combining 105-degree infrared heat with curated lighting and playlists. Guests will find high-end finishes, multiple showers, and a glam room stocked with premium products.

Renowned for its detoxifying heated mat classes that enhance flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, and overall wellness, Workshop Pilates sets itself apart from traditional bright, high-volume studios. Moody lighting, thoughtful playlists, and a community-driven atmosphere create an intimate, client-centric environment that motivates and engages from the moment guests arrive.

“Being part of the Gilbert community is an incredible milestone for us,” Co-founder Jackie Parks said. “This new studio represents the next evolution of our concept. We can’t wait for guests to experience the design, energy and innovation we’ve meticulously built into every detail.”

Since opening its first location in McCormick Ranch in 2020, Workshop Pilates has expanded rapidly with studios in North Scottsdale (2023) and Arcadia (2024), quickly becoming a destination for enthusiasts and newcomers. Following a strategic investment from Ment Partners and the appointment of Nick Lavidge as president in early 2025, the brand has embarked on ambitious growth, with Gilbert serving as the first of many new locations across Arizona and the U.S.

“Ment and Nick share our vision for creating transformational experiences that leave people better than when they arrived,” Co-founder Ariel Schwartz said. “Gilbert is our first new studio together and we’re eager to introduce the East Valley to a wholly unique fitness space that inspires connection and togetherness.”
