Happy Spring Detox Week! Time to spring clean our bodies – goodbye nasty toxins, hello more energy! All week we’ll be celebrating all things detox: Each day, my fave health and fitness experts across the Valley will spill what they’re doing to detox for spring (take notes – you’ll want to follow suit). Plus we’re doing a Twitter contest – the best one yet! The winner will receive (drumroll please….) a 5-day Pressed Juice Cleanse from Kaleidoscope Juice. That includes: 25 Organic Cold Pressed Juices, 5 Turmeric Detox Flushes and 1 Raw Almond Milk (all juices are 100% organic, raw and unpasturized). It retails for $300 smackers! Why do a juice cleanse? Well, Alexandra Maw, the force behind Kaleidoscope, sums it up pretty well: “If you don’t take care of your body, where will you live?” Good point – and one hack of a prize if I do say so myself.

How To Enter
*Follow me on Twitter @AZFoothillsFit.
*RT this message: I just entered to win a juice cleanse from @kaleidoscopejuc and @AZFoothillsFit #JUICINGROCKS

Deadline: Sunday March 10, 2013 (don’t worry, I’ll remind you). The winner will be selected at random on Monday March 11, 2011. I will let the winner know via twitter!

Okay, so I’ve told you about the contest… and all the spring detox tips coming your way (they’re great!). But I don’t think its fair to celebrate spring detoxing without doing something to “cleanse” myself. So, here’s what I’m going to do: No Diet Coke! Okay, this may not seem like such a stretch to some, but the diet stuff is by far my biggest vice. I CRAVE it, especially if I’m eating a burger or pizza. But I know all those chemicals aren’t doing my body any good, so I’m going to give it up cold turkey. I’ll keep you posted on my progress. In the meantime, let us know what you’re doing to detox for spring. Leave a comment so we can all benefit.
