If The Weeknd hasn’t won you over yet with his high notes and seductively euphoric lyrics, there’s no doubt he will now. The R&B superstar who originally caught attention off his 2011 mixtape, House of Balloons, has been slowly emerging into the musical spotlight. With his provocative vocals paired up next to big names like Drake, Wiz Khalifa and Ariana Grande, The Weeknd has certainly made a name for himself. His most recent single “Can’t Feel My Face” has reached the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and is featured on his upcoming album Beauty Behind the Madness. The album, which is set for an August 28 release, is said to have Michael Jackson-like vibes and sounds.

While fans await his next album, The Weeknd fed the Lollapoolaza crowd on Friday night, a beautiful set of some of his top hits. In addition, he also surprised the crowd with a heart-throbbing cover of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2014 hit single, “Drunk In Love.” The song, whose lyrics do enough alone, was a part of Beyoncé’s self-titled surprise album that shot to No. 1, and went platinum soon after. Listen to the official remix here. Hopefully it will be enough to hold you over to August 28.
