Phoenix-based Zia Records is branching out even further in Las Vegas. Its current location at Sahara Avenue and Arville Street will soon be in the past as the store moves to a larger location at Charleston and Rainbow Boulevard this fall. The move and expansion will add 2,000 square feet and provide an even better location for the shop, in the midst of Rainbow’s bustling atmosphere.
“Vegas wanted more and we’re giving it to them,” said Zia Records General Manager Jarrett Hankinson. “Our customers and fans talk to us often and we love to listen to them.”
Behind the scenes, the Zia Records team is busy preparing for the change by bulking up inventory and even building out new custom shelving units at their in-house wood shop.
“But for right now, it’s business as usual at Zia Sahara,” said Hankinson. “Our doors are always open so keep coming by and be sure to say hi to our crew.”
Exact dates and details on the move will be released in the coming weeks. And of course, Zia Records will layer on the fan love with moving specials, a grand re-opening party and more.
“Just wait and see,” said Hankinson. “We’ve got some awesome plans in the works for our Vegas customers!”
