Kick off festival season early with the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, set to take place March 3-5. The non profit festival benefits Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation and UMOM New Day Center with 100-percent of proceeds benefiting both organizations. Taking place at Margaret T. Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix, the festival features a bold mix of artists including headliners, Flume, The Shins, Chromeo, Grouplove and Gov’t Mule.
For those looking to continue the party, Desoto Central Market is hosting After Hours from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday night will feature Treezus, Sunsquabi and Emancipator while Friday’s artist is to be announced.
McDowell Mountain Music Festival was established in 2004 and has donated more than $1,000,000 to local charities.
