It’s been 25 years since Liz Phair released her debut album Exile in Guyville and an anniversary box set was recently released to celebrate the career-defining album. Dubbed the Girly-Sound to Guyville, this commemoration to her first album also includes a collection of demo songs from previously recorded cassette tapes (#TBT). Fans can experience many of these songs live on her current nationwide tour dubbed Amps On The Lawn. The rare tour will be the first time Phair plays many of these songs live to audiences.

With her relatable voice and alternative girl-power, now is the perfect time to catch the star live. And we’re not the only ones that think so. Phair has sold more than five million albums worldwide, three of which have gone Gold. She’s been praised by Rolling Stone for being the “Keyaddition to the alternative-rock canon” and Huffington Post claimed “Many women still see the world, and ourselves, through the sound of those 18 songs.”

Catch Liz Phair live in Phoenix on September 25 at Crescent Ballroom. Speedy Ortiz will be opening for all of Phair’s shows.
