Fans of beer, baseball and country music can look forward to the 4th Annual Budweiser Spring Fever Pitch, a concert-based social event that’s swinging through Gilbert on Thursday, March 16. The signature annual event celebrates Arizona’s MLB Spring Training in Arizona and this year, it will also be celebrating the grand opening of Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Gilbert. And what better way to kick off the country bar’s opening weekend than with a free concert by rising country star, Kelsea Ballerini. “Country’s Next Queen,” as named by Billboard, Ballerini has struck big success with her debut album, First Time. Her first three singles off the album all hit No. 1, making her the only female artist in country music history, including female duos and groups, to do so. The hits include platinum-certified “Love Me Like You Mean It,” and both gold-certified hits, “Dibs” and “Peter Pan.”
Located at Heritage District in Gilbert, the 8,700-sq.-ft. restaurant and bar is the third Whiskey Row location in Arizona, along with Scottsdale and Tempe and is a modern, trendy outlet to find live music and American gastropub cuisine. Prior to the grand opening on March 16, the restaurant will host a soft opening on Tuesday, March 7.
“When we opened our first Whiskey Row three years ago, I never would have guessed we’d be three bars in, in three years,” said Bentley. “The Riot group and I have spent a lot of time making sure each Whiskey Row is our version of the perfect place to listen to music, watch a game or grab some great food and drinks. The vibe is really unique and special, and it’s awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves at Whiskey Row.”
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. the day of the concert. While the event is free, everyone must have a ticket and they are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Tables and bottle service will also be available for purchase.
