Halloween Parties in the Valley 2019

Get your spook on at these Valley haunts throwing killer bashes full of scary-good fun.

The Wrigley Mansion is hosting its first annual “Yelloween” party in partnership with Veuve Clicquot on Thursday, October 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight. The chic event transforms the Garden Terrace and Garden Room into a haunted mansion, setting the scene for a ghostly Halloween fete. Enjoy a live band, tarot card reader and spooky bites on the Garden Terrace before a DJ takes over the night. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes of their choice. A portion of the proceeds benefit local nonprofit Almost There Foster Care, dedicated to providing loving care and a comfortable space to homeless dogs in need. Enter the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess at your own risk on Nov. 2. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., the 10th Annual Nightmare on Princess Drive Halloween invites guests to brave Area 51 where the Plaza Bar has been invaded by aliens and intergalactic extra-terrestrials. Enjoy specialty cocktails, a live DJ and popular costume contest.

The Boulders Resort & Spa invites guests to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos on Nov. 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. with fun, food and live entertainment in the el Pedregal outdoor courtyard and amphitheater. Enjoy Patron specialty cocktails and tastings, street tacos, face painting, skull cookie decoration and live mariachi entertainment. $35 per person, includes food and two drink tickets.

This Halloween, LUSTRE will be the go-to place in Downtown Phoenix to ring in the spooky holiday with the Haunted Wild, Wild West party. On Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. LUSTRE is honoring the sinister season with an evening of tricks and treats complete with costume contests, drink samplings, complimentary food, a Polaroid photo booth, music from a live DJ and more. Party with your pooch during Omni Montelucia‘s Yappy Hour Howl’oween Party on Oct. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Dress your pup in their most paw-some costumes. The most festive dressed will win a special box filled with Harry Barker treats, toys and picture frames. Mom or Dad of the winning pet will receive a complimentary bottle of Montelucia wine. Enjoy $5 glasses of wine, first pour is complimentary with admission. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Lucky Paws Foundation, a cage-free, paradise-inspired sanctuary for animals awaiting adoption. $15 per guest.

W Scottsdale is welcoming all things evil during its Evil Enchantment party on Oct. 26 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, El Hefe and Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row are teaming up to take over 6th St. in Tempe and throw the ultimate Halloween block party, Monster’s Block. Starting at 9 p.m., Tempe’s biggest block party will feature a 40-ft. stage with giant LED wall, festival stage production and music by some of the best local DJs. A $10 early-bird ticket gets you into El Hefe Tempe, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Tempe and the block party. Cover starts at 10 p.m., depending on capacity. Early bird tickets are on sale here.

Riot House Scottsdale is hosting Fun House, a carnival-themed party on Oct. 24; Scary Sexy, a party with Yandy giveaways on Oct. 25; Riot House of Horrors on Oct. 26; Sunday Service, a sexy nun-themed party on Oct. 27; and Yeah Baby, an Austin Powers-themed party on Oct. 31.

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Gilbert is hosting a Boots and Boos party on Oct. 26 and a Dancing with the Dead party on Oct. 31 (no cover), complete with a $300 dancing competition.

El Hefe Scottsdale is hosting a Why So Serious? party on Oct. 26; 50 Shades of Dizney, a sexy Disney-themed party on Oct. 27; Yelloween with Vueve on Oct. 30, complete with Vueve Champagne specials; Haunted Hospital on Oct. 31 with Red Bull specials; and Dia de los Muertos on Nov. 1 with $5 Cazadores shots.

El Hefe Tempe is hosting 1984 Camp Horror, a summer camp-gone-bad-themed party on Oct. 31 (no cover).

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Tempe is hosting a Death Row party on Oct. 31 (no cover).

Recover from the spooky weekend on Sunday Oct. 27 with a Halloween themed brunch at RnR. Enjoy “keep em’ coming” mimosas and bloody mary’s drink specials. Take part in a costume contest giveaway and listen to live music from DJ Smassh.

On Saturday Oct. 26 Bottle Blonde is bringing Old Town Scottsdale back to its roots with an Old Town Road-themed Halloween party.

Skylanes Boutique Bowling Club is hosting a Beetlejuice-themed Halloween party featuring two Beetlejuice-inspired drinks: Snake Eye Shot $3 and Beetle Juices $6. Plus, Skylanes will host a contest for the best costume that begins at 6 p.m.

Those looking to celebrate Halloween day-of, can head to Casa Amigos on Oct. 31 with a Hot Tub Time Machine Halloween bash.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, all three Sandbar Mexican Grill locations will be having a throwback to the 80’s and 90’s themed Halloween party with drink specials that include a Pumpkin Porter, Eyeball Jello Shots, and Black Salt Spooky Margaritas. Sandbar Mexican Grill in Gilbert will be celebrating Halloween south-of-the-border-style this year with Tequila Cazadores’ “Altar from Arandas,” as well as a throwback Halloween celebration. Starting on Thursday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 26, Tequila Cazadores will host their pop-up ‘Ofrenda’ celebrating Día de los Muertos and authentic Mexican traditions and cocktails.

Kelly’s at SouthBridge in Old Town Scottsdale is taking it back to where it all began in honor of 80’s rock ‘n’ roll landmark, Whiskey a Go-Go! Join them on Friday, Oct. 25th from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. for the first-ever “Kelly’s a Go-Go” Halloweekend Kickoff Party. All costumes welcome, 80’s rock apparel highly encouraged. Talking Stick Resort is throwing its 14th Annual Raven’s Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m., complete with live music, drink specials, a midnight costume contest and an electric dance floor. Head to Grand Ballroom for the Carn-Evil Wicked Ball on the same night for arealists, costumed dances, an outdoor lounge, cocktails and EDM superstars Showtek, Sam Feldt and Brooks.

This year, Clubhouse at Maya and The District are channeling American Horror Story with parties themed after different seasons of the show. The weekend will kick off with an Asylum-themed party on Oct. 25 followed by a Freak Show theme on Oct. 26; Sunday Scaries, a Sunday Funday daytime party on Oct. 27; Monday night football on Oct. 28; Taco Tuesday on Oct. 29; Doggo-ween on Oct. 30, featuring a dog costume contest with $500 in cash and prizes, followed by a Coven-themed party; and a Haunted Hotel theme on Oct. 31.

On Oct. 25 & 26, get in costume and roam the streets of Old Town during the Scottsdale Zombie Crawl, stopping in and out of more than 10 bars and nightclubs with one all-access pass. At check-in receive a free Halloween pub crawl map, free welcome shot tickets, and pub crawl wristband. From there let your map guide you to each participating venue. Show your wristband at the bar to enjoy exclusive drink specials.

The Downtown Phoenix 2nd Annual Crawloween Pub Crawl is taking place Oct. 26 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and with participating bars including The Churchill, Seamus McCaffrey’s, Copper Blues, Kettle Black, Chambers, Paz Cantina and Stardust Pinbar. There will costume contests, drink specials, a photo contest and more.

Crescent Ballroom is transforming into the home of the Capulets and Montagues on Oct. 31 for its Halloween in Fair Verona: A Romeo & Juliet Masquerade Ball, complete with two rival dance floors. Get extra points if you rock some Shakespearean dress. Costumes are required for entry and there will be multiple costume contests. $15 in advance. Tickets here.

Moxy Tempe is hosting a Spooktacular Soiree on Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight with live music, a $200 costume contest, grub buffet and one free drink. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Gracie’s Tax Bar will host A Disgraceful Halloween on Oct. 31, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., with live music from Treasure Mammal, Djentrification, and Jake Stellarwell. Plus a haunted maze presented by Acme Prints, tarot card readings, live visuals by Purdy Lites and art instillations by Sierra Joy.

Celebrate Dis de Los Muertos at The Clarendon Hotel and Spa during their Haunted Hollywood Hotel party. Featuring Pandora DeStrange as Wendy O Williams and Pyrrha Sutra as Marilyn Monroe along with many more of your favorite dead celebrities. Costumes required for entry. Come as your favorite dead celeb or one whose career is dead. $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

For a historically spooky evening, the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at OdySea in the Desert will host The Ghost Walk, which will feature special after-hour evenings with Phoenix-area Medium, Sheila Leedy. The Ghost Walk will take place October 23 & 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased here.

North Scottsdale’s The Promenade, at Scottsdale Rd. and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., will host a family-friendly Halloween Block Party on Friday, Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. The free event will be located in the parking spaces adjacent to Modern Market and Blaze Pizza. Activities include a Halloween-themed slime station — including all supplies for kids to create their own custom Halloween slime to take home — pumpkin decorating, face painting and balloon twisting. Children are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit by coming dressed in costume. Patrons can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants at the property after the event.

Join OdySea in the Desert for their annual family fun Halloween Bash on Oct. 27 from 12 to 4 p.m. The free event will include a costume contest, trick-or-treat for candy, bounce houses and slides, face painting, live entertainment, performances, prize giveaways and raffles and shopping.

“Elsewhere,” the new immersive art show at Wonderspaces recently opened to the public and will run through March 2020. The new show presents 13 interactive and participatory art installations from artists around the world. Timed with the haunted season, the Wonderspaces bar area is also selling a seasonal “Red Rum” specialty cocktail — a mixture of signature syrup, light rum and ginger beer topped with an eerie float of grenadine — for ghosts and goblins who are 21 years of age and older.
