Casino and fundraiser at ASU Karsten will benefit DreamCatchers Foundation for hospice patients.
DreamCatchers is inviting you to spend a night in Monte Carlo at the charity’s inaugural Casino Night. On Friday, Nov. 2, join DreamCatchers at ASU Karsten Golf Club in Tempe for the organization’s first annual “Betting on Dreams” fundraiser.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Hospice DreamCatchers Foundation. Inspired by the movie Patch Adams, 15-year old Caitlin Crommett founded the DreamCatchers Foundation in order to fulfill the final dreams of hospice patients. The first club of the foundation was based in California, but now there are both high school and collegiate clubs in 13 states. Crommett’s growing organization, which now has chapters from New York to California, is poised to put on one of their best events to date.
“We are so excited as an organization to be putting on this event and thankful for the access to such a great venue at ASU Karsten,“ said Crommett. “It’s been a great year of expansion for our foundation and ‘Betting on Dreams’ will propel us forward into an even better 2019,” she continued.
DreamCatchers has plenty of success stories and those who attend the “Betting on Dreams” casino night will have an opportunity to make their own difference in the lives of hospice patients. The event will have appetizers, desserts, drinks, games and chances to win big prizes with an attire of black and white with a dash of red. There are also plenty of sponsorship opportunities ranging from $450 to $5,000.
From ‘Dreams’ the patient has always aspired to achieve, to something they have loved doing and would love to do one last time, the foundation uses a make-a-wish style to empower students to create positive energy in the end stages of patients’ lives.
