The gravity-defying world of Cirque du Soleil is returning to Arizona spring 2020 with two shows never before seen in the state.
OVO, which originally premiered in 2009, will arrive in Phoenix for the first time at Talking Stick Resort Arena Feb. 20-23 for a total of six performances. Meaning “egg” in Portuguese, OVO is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement. Expect a high acrobatic level for the whole family.
AXEL is Cirque du Soleil’s brand new ice spectacle recently unveiled this fall. The tour will make stops in Prescott Valley at Findlay Toyota Center March 19-21 for four performances and in Tucson at the Tucson Convention Center April 17-19 for six performances. This fantasy show blends graphic art and music to create a super-charged world. Expect ice skating, breath-taking acrobatics, pop music and vibrant visuals for a high-energy, immersive experience for the whole family.
Tickets are now on sale for both shows and start at $44.
