Celebrate the smooth sounds of Frank Sinatra on Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church as Bryan Anthony performs “Celebrating Sinatra: His Life In Music.” As lead singer of the Nelson Riddle and Tommy Dorsey orchestras, Anthony will take guests on a musical journey through Sinatra’s big band years, the unforgettable recordings at Capitol Records, his great movie years and his final iconic international concerts.

Anthony developed a passion for Sinatra’s style after starring in the off-Broadway show “Our Sinatra,” which ran for nearly three years. He studied voice at the Manhattan School of Music and toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra prior to that and since then has toured the world singing from “The American Songbook,” in the style of the great crooners, with melodies that emanated from Broadway, Hollywood and Tin Pan Alley.

The Gold Canyon Arts Council, a non-profit organization, promotes the performing and visual arts and is supported in part by grants from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, WESTAF, the National Endowment for the Arts, local corporations, and businesses.
