Bitter & Twisted to Transform into a Tiki-Christmas Hideaway

Iconic cocktail bar in downtown Phoenix, Bitter & Twisted, is hosting the Sippin’ Santa pop-up this holiday season from Nov. 26 through Dec. 28.

The classic bar is teaming up with famed tiki connoisseur Jeff “Beachbum” Barry for a month-long Sippin’ Santa pop-up which will transform the bar into a total tiki hideaway complete with festive tiki decor and a custom menu of colorful tiki concoctions.

Jeff “Beachbum” Berry has been credited with helping to revive tiki cocktail culture and has been recognized as “one of the world’s leading rum experts” by Food & Wine and one of the “25 most influential cocktail personalities of the past century,” by Imbibe magazine. The New York Times even called him “the Indiana Jones of Tiki drinks.”

In between sips of a Kris Kringle Colada or Christmas Eve of Destruction, guests can also shop exclusive Sippin’ Santa gear. Things like collectable barware and Christmas-themed tiki mugs will be available to purchase to commemorate the festive season.

Those who prefer something more classic will still be able to order off a pared down menu of Bitter & Twisted’s greatest hits, classics and shots. The full bar bites menu will be available to soak up all the rum.

On top of all the tiki fun, Bitter & Twisted will donate 10-percent of all retail sales to Action Against Hunger, a charity that helps malnourished children and provide communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger worldwide.
